The incorporation of Information and Commnunication Technology (ICT) with EFL
classroom teaching activities in public schools have to be considered a challenge that
does not depend exclusively on teachers' willingness and interests.
Education Department officers and planners, as well as schools management staff have
to be considered relevant participants in this process. Their active role must cope
with planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating how ICT tools are actually
properly explored and used in the school context.
In Colombia, this specific task aims to strengthen Educational Standards both in the
use of ICT and EFL use.
However, ICT infraestructure at schools does not meet the requirements for the
achievement of the National Policies on these particular issues. for instance, access
to computers is inadequate due to either lack of sufficient ICT equipment or to ICT
connectivity at schools. In the Public Schools in Bogotá, access is denied to many
websites and other social network sites once they are considered harmful to children
and teenagers. Something that is considered a protection measurement of Children
Rights.

reflecting about ICT tools approached in the EFL context becomes a learning option for students to share with peers: what they do, live and read as a live experience linked to their EFL process. The politics utilized for a country like the our ,with respect to the use of the TIC that affect to the differents knowledge areas ,I think that should be more full being supervised for the teachers and the attendees sent for the government for to guarantee the quality of the education.
